In which city do you live?
I’m living in the city of Swansea on South Wales! Surrounded by amazing wrestling from the likes of Attack Pro and Dragon pro as well as long standing promotions like Welsh Wrestling.
How long have you been in the business?
I am an utter infant as I am only now about to round off my first-year in the business!
What inspired you want to get into the business?
The amazing in ring work if wrestlers like Aj Styles and Doug Williams always captivated me and the way wrestling gave me amazing memories with my old man after he had a stroke inspired me to get in to the business and give back
Where did you learn to wrestle?
I learnt to wrestle under Jezz Gardner in South Wales
What are your signature moves and/or your finishers?
My finisher is the magic maker – a ripcord forearm smash
Other moves I count on to best my opponent include a mean slingblade and a tilt-a-world back breaker given to me by Lion Kid!
What promotions have you wrestled for?
I have wrestled for RIW in south Wales, I have dates lined up with People’s Republic of Wrestling, Eternal Flames of Wrestling and I’ve got my eyes firmly locked on Rebel Championship Wrestling and Raging Falcon Pro Wreslting, two impressive looking companies I’d love to wrestle for.
What injuries have you sustained?
I’ve been lucky to avoid any serious injury or anything worth noting.
Are you a face or a heel?
I am face, I face because I go out to wrestle and have a great time, I go out to prove myself to each and every fan in every single venue I work in because their love for this business and their support of it is what allows me to do what I do and I will always be grateful for that and so I will always perform for them, stand up for them and be there for them. It’s all for them.
What style(s) do you do?
I am a mix of styles, I’m a brawler and a grappler at heart, there’s nothing more life giving than using my strikes and throws to achieve victory and educate my opponent how much of a threat I am but I can take to the top and fly if needs me, I refused to limit myself to just a brawler or grappled in anyway I like to be able to surprise my opponent so if you really want to appreciate my style you’d have to see me perform.
What’s your entrance music?
Brace yourself // JPNSGRLS
I’m waiting to debut new music from my friends at Apathy Avenue but saying anymore would be spoilers;)
Why did you choose it?
I chose Brace Yourself as it is an intense and passionate song from the very first note, It’s a suitable introduction because it sounds as though the artists put every drop of passion into it which is what I do every time I compete inside the squared circle.
Who would you like to wrestle in the business? Why?
In a recent interview with SportCentral I said one of my goals in this business is to Wreslte Doug Williams, so there’s my answer. The reasons is because Doug is someone I believe has given so very much to British Wrestling for a very long time and he is still doing so! He is a man I respect so much and it would be an honour to share a ring with him. He’s also a man I know I could learn so much from.
What’s the best advice anyone in the business has given you?
The best advice I’ve been given came from Joseph Conners and it was “This industry owes you nothing” because it has stuck with me through my training in and out of the ring. The only way to make progress is to work hard and prove why you deserve anything you are given, to never expect anything because there’s a sense of entitlement.
What do you want to be known for in the business?
Of course I want to be known as a good worker and everything I would be lying if I said that wasn’t true but something that’s equally important is I want to be known as a good guy, as a wrestler that cares about people, workers, fans etc. Because that’s who I am as a person. I shaved my hair to raise money for Mind at the end of August on a show and managed to raise £550 pound! Acts of kindness and being genuine are what I want to be know for as an act of defiance to the cut throat nature of this business!
